Ceramic paintings
I will paint on anything - painting on a ceramic canvas - large ceramic plaques 60 x 60cm, disks, plates or small tiles - the glazes and firing being a large part of the process - painting with flames, colours you can’t see. I will paint with earth, rocks, sand, metal, bones, glass or just glazes I have developed over many years - they are then fired in my gas kiln to1320 celsius - permanent - forever.
